Magnus - Notices issues:
- when a request note is triggered (book on hold shelf) - if date falls on a closed day sometimes the date of the closed day date shows up on the notice (correct date in FOLIO)
- Wrong date in hold slip
- Charlotte in Chat: sounds like a bug
- Thomas Trutt 17:21: If you can confirm that this is a bug this week it may be able to be fixed as part of bugfest..
- Magnus will test further in Bugfest env. and file a bug report
Olga - Courses
- Small UI Problem could maybe solved quickly
- David Bottorff (UChicago) 17:22 : How many libraries are using the Course Reserves app?
- Erin Weller 17:23: Michigan State uses it
- Catherine Descanzo 17:23: Stanford uses it too
- Charlotte: Maybe ID will pick up this work - has to be funded
- Charlotte 17:28: It will be great to have the UXPROD features for this new work written up in detail.
- Based on the feature description then any development team can then do the time estimates and decide if they have the band with to do the work
- We need an evaluation of the community need
- What are the reasons for not using the FOLIO Reserves app:
- UChicago and Cornell use Ares instead
- Cornell looked into other products as well
- Main point is usability (unlimited URL, etc.)
- Erin Weller 17:27: I know my Reserves staff have lots of complaints about the app. Another meeting to discuss would others would probably be beneficial. If we know how much money is needed, I can ask our administration to see if we can contribute funding.
- UChicago and Cornell use Ares instead
- possible solutions: go to PC for
- We will form a temporary small group to write up the features that are improving the courses app and find interested institutions
- go over bag logs (written up by Kelly Drake)
