Obtain information about courses, instructors, subject areas; obtain lists of materials put on reserve for specific courses. (Note that this is not really patron-specific; this is information a patron could be interested in, but it is not tied to a patron account in any way).

Trending items

Obtain lists of items that are currently "trending" (the exact definition of this is open to interpretation – but, for example, items that have recently circulated many times). An API for fetching this type of information could help to power patron recommendations, etc.
