Codex search renders incorrectly when loaded without a query-string

Description

The codex search view will render incorrectly if the page is loaded without the defautl query string in the URL.

To recreate simply place "/codexsearch" in the url, with no query-string and load the page.

The result is a rendering of the page where the codex logo and result count are not present in the header space above the result view, and the search input is not contained within the side input.

Proposed behavior: When "/codexsearch" is loaded without a query-string, a default query-string is provided.
