Search Index shows "FOLIO ID", search uses "Identifiers"

Description

1. Paste http://folio-snapshot-stable.aws.indexdata.com/codexsearch?query=84641839 into the browser's URL slot.
2. Press enter.

The search index box shows "FOLIO ID". The search results area shows the "ABA Journal" because it does an all fields search and one of "ABA Journal"'s resource identifiers is LCCN=84641839.

Expected result: Search index box shows the same index that is used for searching.
Either show "FOLIO ID" and search for "FOLIO ID", or show "All Fields" and search for "All Fields".

Thanks . What I don't understand is why you expect the behavior you are expecting. Can you add some additional manual repro steps to show how the URL you are pasting is generated? For example, like the repro steps I added here:

Julian Ladisch August 21, 2018 at 8:36 AM

: I've updated the description how to reproduce and attached a screenshot. This issue is about getting the field name from the URL. Your have a different use case that does not involve pasting the URL into the browser's URL input field.

Hi . I was trying to repro this and I did the following:

  1. Logged into snapshot-stable

  2. When to Inventory

  3. Selected FOLIO ID from the search menu

  4. Entered 84641839 in as the search value

Actual results: "No results found for "84641839". Please check your spelling and filters."

NOTE: When I search for Identifier = 84641839 I do get ABA Journal as a search result.

Given all this, I think this issue can be closed as Cant Repro. If you agree, can you please do so? Thanks!

Julian, thanks for these edits – but in situations like this, I think it's better to let the original description stand. Otherwise it makes my comment retroactively nonsensical.

Anyway, no harm done.
