Having messed around with this a bit more, it seems that the redirecting problem is more pervasive: for example, I can trigger a similar effect by searching in the Codex app, clicking on an eHoldings record, then going back (which works for eHoldings but not for Inventory) and then changing the search. This results in jumping back to the page in the eHoldings app.

Since that's a broader problem than just inventory-record display, I am going to file it separately, and consider the present one done.

At times like this, I start to suspect the build process. Things just do get weird in a yarn-linked Stripes environment when it's been around for a while. I know this amounts to sacrificing chickens, but I think I might need to remove all my node_modules directories and start from scratch.

Well, this is weird. I have it working, but as soon as I've followed a link from the Codex Search module into the Inventory module, every time I return to Codex Search (e.g. with the Back button) it immediately redirects me to the Inventory page.

And yet there is no redirect in the code.

Can't do this as mod-inventory-storage is spewing 500 errors all over the place.

Tomorrow, I will try raising the memory allowance of my VM, but it's a proper pain to restart it because there's so much by-hand configuration that needs doing at the moment. Oh well.
