Purpose: In the Inventory and MARC authority apps, it is difficult to tell which fields are able to be used for sorting and the indication is different between the two apps. We need to make it clearer which fields have the sort capability, and which fields are currently used for sorting.
Requirements:
In the MARC authority app, add either a caret-up or caret- down (for ascending vs descending) to indicate which field is currently being used for sorting (currently the field header is just underlined) - retain current design for which field is currently being used for sorting in Inventory app, which is the caret showing ascending or descending and the underline
For both apps, add a grey stacked caret-up and caret-down to indicate which fields can be used for sorting
In Inventory app, currently it would be on Title and Contributors when field is not currently the sort by field
In MARC authority app, currently it would be on Authorized/Reference, Heading/Reference, Type of heading when field is not currently the sort by field
Mockups: See headers and caret indicators on slide 5 - https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FmSmyVH71wuvaXmQV0gu8B0zKMNm6U_h-ozegh-7-vU/edit?usp=sharing
