Purpose: To describe the function of the Decline action, in Mediated requests app., so that Users can close as declined Mediated requests with a status of New - Awaiting confirmation.

Environment: ECS with mod-tlr enabled

User story statement(s):

As a librarian with certain permissions using the Mediated requests app,
I need to be able to Decline some Mediated requests with the status of New - Awaiting confirmation.

_1. Scenario:

• Given > Mediated requests > Mediated request detail pane of a Mediated request with status New - Awaiting confirmation,

• And I have either of the following permissions

  • Mediated requests: All permissions

  • Mediated requests: View, decline

• then I can see and select Actions > Decline.

  • Note: Decline has the following icon to the left -

_2 Scenario:

• Given > Mediated requests > Mediated request detail pane of a Mediated request with status New - Awaiting confirmation,

• when I select Decline, I see a “Confirm Mediated request decline” popup with the following information:

  • Text in the body of the popup “[XYZ title] will be declined”

  • Primary blue button with white letters “Confirm” on bottom right

  • Secondary white button with blue outline and letters “Back” on bottom left

• then I can click to “Confirm” or go “Back”.

_3 Scenario:

• Given > Mediated requests > Mediated request detail pane of a Mediated request with status New - Awaiting confirmation,

• if I click “Back”,

• then I return to the Mediated request details pane.

_4 Scenario:

• Given > Mediated requests > Mediated request detail pane of a Mediated request with status New - Awaiting confirmation,

• if I click “Confirm”

• the request is Declined, and I return to the Mediated request details pane where the Mediated request status has changed to “Closed - Declined”.

Note: Enhancements to the Confirmation popup, including reasons for Decline and notes to patrons can be made in a later release, possibly in scope of S feature work
