Can't create requests in Bugfest environment

Description

Steps to repro:

  1. Log into https://bugfest.folio.ebsco.com/ as folio

  2. Go to inventory and find an item (mine had status of available)

  3. From pane header dropdown, select new request

  4. Fill out request form (pick any requester)

  5. Click to save request

Expected: Should save assuming request is permitted by request policy. If not, should throw a user friendly message.

Actual: Nothing happens at all. Doesn't save.

The circulation rules were having references to invalid Request policies,
I just made sure the request policies specified in circulation rules are present in the request policies as in the screenshot

I had no idea there was a workaround for this. I agree, if this is about lack of policies preventing request creation, that is not a P1 and I think it's different issue, as well. I'll close this.

can you please add a screenshot or two showing what you had to do?

, this bug should be about adding a proper message to user so they can fix it or request an Admin to fix it.

This bug has a workaround, therefore it is definitely not a P1

was able to fix the issue by adding patron notice policies and request policies in "Settings->circulation". Able to place requests now.
However, there was no proper UI error message
