[ECS Eureka] - The item link on the request details page does not work when in the central tenant

Description

Problem: In the request app, on the request detail pane there is a link to the item being requested. When a user is viewing a request in the central tenant for an item located in another data tenant and clicks on the link there is an error.

Expected result: the link should open the inventory app and display the item that is being requested.

Actual result: An error is displayed.

Environment: ECS with mod-tlr enabled;

Hi and . This is a known issue and will be addressed later by https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UIREQ-1226. The item barcode will not work in the central tenant because the item is located in a data tenant.

I tested it on ECS Eureka and Snapshot envs and I see that there is an issue on the server side. By some reason GET “inventory/items/{id}“ endpoint returns 404 Not Found error (see screenshots below from ECS Eureka and Snapshot envs).
