Bib Rec. / Field 008 / Ctrl / Removing

Description

  1. Open bib rec with Source = MARC

  2. Edit LDR

    • Book: LDR/06=a,t AND LDR/07=a,c,d,m

    • Music: LDR/06=c,d,i,j

    • Continuing resources: LDR/06=a AND LDR/07=b, i, s

    • Computer files: LDR/06=m

    • Virtual materials: LDR/06=g,k,o,r

    • Maps: LDR/06=e,f

    • Mixed materials: LDR/06=p

  3.  Look at 008 field

  4. Every material type which is specified by LDR has got 008/Ctrl

  5. CTRL - is not allowed for 008. Ctrl is from LDR/08 so it shouldn't be displayed

Verified on Snapshot-1 - works as expected

Issue when saving edited "MARC authority" record was fixed:

High-level re-testing of "Ctrl" box removal from "008" performed - no issues

"Ctrl" box not shown in "008" field for all material types when editing/deriving/creating "MARC Bib" record:

Note for QA:
Need to be verified for each material type when 

  • Edit MARC bib + save the record (using "Save & keep editing" button)

  • Derive MARC Bib

  • Create MARC bib
