The "select order lines" dialog box (triggered by the "add line from POL" action when viewing an open invoice) doesn't work right in Firefox (I tested with Firefox v124.0.2). If you perform a search (or take other actions that switch focus away from the browser window), the dialog completely disappears instead of displaying results.
This was first observed in April, 2024 but is likely a long-standing problem; we noticed it here at Villanova because a new user began working on invoices, and she uses Firefox instead of Chrome as her preferred browser.
It works fine in Chrome. I realize that Chrome is the only officially supported browser, and we can use it as a workaround, so this is not an emergency. Just reporting this in case it’s a sign of an underlying problem with standards-compliance, etc.
We're currently still running Orchid. I was also able to reproduce the problem in the Poppy BugFest environment at on April 10, 2024. I could not easily test in the Orchid reference environment, since that environment does not appear to contain sample invoice data.
