Assumption: MARC authority app already supports a LCCN search option based on documentation  https://github.com/folio-org/mod-search/blob/master/README.md#authority-search-options 

Requirements

• Display a new search option called LCCN

• Display a new search option below Identifier (all) search option

• This new search option should display on MARC authority app and select a MARC authority record plug-in

• User must be able to find a MARC authority record by LCCN (010 $a and 010 $z)

• User should be able to find LCCN in which the non-whitespace values are an exact match to a MARC authority record.

  • An exact match should be any of the following

    • Enter LCCN with spaces as displayed in the 010 $a and 010 $z of a MARC authority record. Example: n 79066095

    • Enter LCCN with beginning whitespace(s). Example with two whitespaces at the beginning)  n  79066095

    • Enter LCCN with trailing whitespace(s). Example with two trailing: n 79066095 

    • Enter LCCN that has no spaces: Example: n79066095

    • Enter LCCN that has both preceding and trailing whitespaces
