Duplicate items sometimes created when receiving pieces

Overview
Sometimes, duplicate item records with the same barcode are created when receiving pieces for ongoing orders. The issue seems to be intermittent and I have not been able to reproduce the issue myself, but had this described by a highly estimated colleague.

These two examples had been expected for a couple of weeks and claimed from the publisher.

Correct example
The next received piece (2018:10) was handled in exactly the same way by my colleague and correctly created only one item (barcode 1204262698).

Hi , we did reproduce this in the checkin workflow and have been able to resolve it The fix will be deployed with Edelweiss.

Hi Could this double-click bug also affect receiving of check-in pieces? I have no evidence, but it seems to have happened here.

This appears to be resolved as I can no longer reproduce it in folio-snapshot by double clicking "Save and close"

The fix is deployed to testing env, now button is disabled right after the click.
