Description

In the Chalmers environment, a user creates a PO and chooses to create Instance, holdings, and items in the physical resource details.
The users wants to Open the order.
Expected result: the order is opened and the status changes to open.
Actual result: the order cannot be opened and an error message appears. "Order can not be opened as a loan type was not configured in orders settings or the configured type Can circulate no longer exists"
To log into the Chalmers environment, go to Chalmers.folio.ebsco.com login slacked to Ann-Marie

In the Snapshot stable environment, the user creates the PO and chooses to create instance holdings and items in the physical resource details.
The users wants to Open the order.
Expected result: the order is opened and the status changes to open.
Actual result: the order cannot be opened and this error message appears: Order could not be saved. It is in a light red alarm "toast" box. It does not stay on the screen long enough for me to get a picture of it.

closing since there's nothing Thunderjet can do about this, and it's being tracked in Rally

Maybe for these types of bugs or stories in the future, we should block them and add a link to the Rally story in the comments or description. That way they won't accidentally get into a FOLIO sprint, where Thunderjet can't actually do anything to fix them.

Ann-Marie Breaux August 28, 2019 at 1:48 AM

Sounds good - thank you

Craig McNally August 27, 2019 at 3:06 PM

I created a rally story and added you both as watchers.

Craig McNally August 27, 2019 at 2:56 PM

Since this is a chalmers-specific issue, not a bug in the code it should be tracked in Rally, not here.
