Hey, folks. No, this should not be affected at all by the VertX port. The plan is to use a generic customisation feature based on a fix to mod-configuration, described in some detail at https://github.com/MikeTaylor/folio-docs/blob/main/doc/fixing-mod-configuration.md
I think the shortest route to being able to do the this LDP work is to get Adam onto that mod-configuration fix — for various reasons, he will be able to get it done 5–10 times faster than me.

I filed MODCONF-131 to capture the work done in designing an appropriate configuration/customization infrastructure for FOLIO, and blocked the present issue on that.

Modify JSON query saving/loading to use FOLIO storage instead of GitHub.
This should include an upgrade process that moves previously saved queries from GitHub to FOLIO storage (UILDP-94). Alternatively, the existing load-from-GitHub feature (without save-to-GitHub) could be preserved temporarily to give users time to move their queries out of GitHub.
