This card refines and focuses on the behavior of the underlying search result page.
A cataloger can select instance resource descriptions from a search result page by clicking checkboxes. Then the cataloger can compare the selected resource descriptions by selecting ‘Compare’ from the Actions drop down menu.
Currently, the search result set remains in the background, and the selected titles are highlighted (in addition to displaying the checkboxes, and displaying numbered icons representing the order in which the instances were selected).
The highlight should be reserved only for titles that are displayed in the comparison mode. Consequently, only two titles should be highlighted at a time. The checkbox and numbered icons are unaffected by this function. Both elements are constant until a title is removed for comparison.
