Find item in inventory using barcode

Description

Steps: Copy or scan barcode of known item into Inventory search.

Expected behavior: The item, or the instance associated with the item, is found and can be opened in the right pane.

Actual behavior: The item is not found, although it can be checked in.

Hi - okay - no worries.

We're working towards segmented control on search i Inventory - so we're definitely coming back to the UI work to achieve a better user experience for search in very near future.

I'll close this story for now.

You are right – I did not select Barcode! But I thought that "All" would actually include all (expected behavior would be for barcodes to be included in the most common search field), so perhaps a minor user experience issue.

You can close this issue and perhaps the UI will be tweaked in another release.

Hi - I can't reproduce this bug.

In your scenario, do you then remember to select search term Barcode?
