Original bug from Patty: When I search for some records and get a display, and then select to view the MARC, I expect the Marc view to open in full screen (as does edit). When I x out of the screen I expect to be back to my inventory search results.

Actual behavior: 1. the inventory search is erased, and 2. re-executing the search provides the false response that there are no results.

Update from Ann-Marie: see attached videos.

• The inventory search is still in the search box, but the search result in the middle pane disappears. I can get the result back by re-executing the search, but I should not have to do that.

• The second video shows a filters-only search result, and when I close the View MARC, I lose the search results plus the filter that cause the search results. I have to re-enter the filter to get the search results back. Definitely should not have to do that.

• When I close the View MARC, I should return to the search results the way I left it:

  • the Instance detail view in the 3rd pane

  • the search results and the selected instance highlighted in the 2nd pane

  • the search/filter details in the 1st pane.
