Inventory Single Record Import modal: list of profiles limited to 10

Description

Overview: If a library has more than 10 job profiles attached to a Z39.50 target profile, only the first 10 entered into the database display on the dropdown in the Inventory Single Record Import modal. This reproduces in Snapshot, Quesnelia & Ramsons

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into Snapshot, Quesnelia Bugfest (See this example in Q: ), or Ramsons Bugfest

  2. Go to Settings/Inventory/Z39.50 target profiles

  3. Create a new target profile

    • Assign a name

    • Under 'Job profiles for import/create', link 11 or more unique job profiles

    • Click "Enabled" checkbox at bottom of the screen

    • Save and close

  4. Go to Inventory

  5. Actions/Import

  6. When the modal opens, click the dropdown list of profiles, count the number of profiles

Expected Results:

  • As many profiles as are enabled in Settings should display in dropdown

Actual Results:

  • FOLIO only displays the first 10 profiles in dropdown selection

Thank you for the additional detail and for pointing out the potential duplicate being handled by Stripes Force! Glad to hear Seton Hall has a workaround for the time being.

The ability to have more than ten job profiles attached to a Z target for single record import is of very high priority for Seton Hall. However, we have put a workaround in place of adding multiple targets for what is really a single target -- basically duplicating all of the configurations and values for the original, target but attaching a different set of <10 profiles.

Example of this workaround - see the Z target for “WorldCat – South Orange – Donation job profiles.” Six profiles are added there, leaving the other eight in the original Z target, “WorldCat - South Orange”. This way, both targets have fewer than 10 job profiles each, so both show all the expected job profiles when used for single record import in the Inventory app, like this:
