Facet indicates Instance is not shared, but record details show 'Shared'

Description

This issue can be reproduced in the sprint testing environment (and see attached screenshot)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to College tenant

  2. Inventory > Search > Instances

  3. Select “Shared” = No

  4. Select “Format” = unmediated – object

  5. Click on any of the results to see the Instance record

Expected results:

  1. The record count in the facet matches the number of records that is local (I suspect the number 7 instead of 63)

  2. When opening any of the records, the instance details indicate the record is local

Actual results:

  1. The majority of the instance records indicate they are actually “Shared” rather than local

Closing this story as it is likely due to a data issue in the sprint testing environment. Created story: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/MODINVSTOR-1263 to create a script to cleanup the data (likely remove shadow copies from member tenants that do not have corresponding records in the central tenant)

For me, it looks like broken data. There is no such record on a central tenant.

It could be somehow manually created shadow-copy record via API (source with CONSORTIUM- prefix).
Or it could be some inconsistency issue, for example the record was deleted from central tenant but it was not synchronized to the member tenants)

Hey - even if it is shared, it shouldn’t show up when the Shared facet is selected as “No”

Hey and , the Instance record is a shadow-copy, that’s why it’s displayed as shared.
