Slash character in barcode creates 404 error

Overview:

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into some FOLIO orchid bugfest

  2. Search for item barcode 1111/12345

Expected Results:

FOLIO UI pulls up requested item record

Actual Results:

  • GET error pop up

  • Taken to instance record - must expand holdings to see highlighted item record

Potential Workaround

Items Search does bring up the correct instance and highlights the item barcode (if user expands the correct holdings accordion).

Tested again on Poppy BF this morning. All looks good now - thank you!

Searching barcodes with slashes in them will be available in Poppy

Hi I tested searching for a barcode with a slash in it on Snapshot and on Poppy Bugfest and got the same successful results. Attaching the video

Hi I searched for a barcode with a slash in it on Snapshot, and it worked just fine. I searched for the same on Poppy Bugfest and got no results.

Barcode is 324165/32567 (be sure to switch to item and to barcode search)

Any ideas? In theory, this was fixed by Spitfire in
