Selected search option cannot be changed from first try when facet was applied

Description

Overview: Selected search option cannot be changed from first try when facet was applied.
The issue reproduces for Instance, Holdings and Item tabs.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into Snapshot FOLIO environment as User with following permission:
    Inventory: All permissions

  2. Go to "Inventory" app ("Instance" tab should be selected)

  3. Select any search option but not default, ex.: "Contributor"

  4. Run any search

  5. Apply any facet (for example, check "MARC" checkbox in the "Source" accordion).

  6. Click on the dropdown with selected search option.

  7. Select any other search option in expanded dropdown.

Expected Results: Search option is changed. Applied facet is NOT canceled.

Actual Results: Search option is not changed. Applied facet is canceled.

Hey   - works as expected BUT there is definitely an issue going on in snapshot when you 

  • Use Advanced search

  • Select multiple facets 

  • Hit Reset button 

  • The facet values do not reset

Tested on Snapshot-1 - works as expected

Search option can be changed after applying a facet. See example:
