New Permission: View MARC holdings record

Description

Context: Several librarians have requested a permission that allows the user to view the source record AND not edit the holdings record via quickMARC (see screenshot) 

Requirement: Create a new permission called View MARC holdings record 

This permission will allow a user to View the source record BUT not edit the holdings record via quickMARC 

Acceptance criteria:

Given I assigned a user the permission : View MARC holdings record 

When I go to the Inventory app and click on a holdings record with source = MARC

Then the third pane Actions menu should not give me the option to Edit MARC holdings record

AND I should be able to View the source record

Hey

I am testing on snapshot and I still cannot view the MARC holdings source. 

Holdings HRID: ho00000000059

It maybe a result of the latency issue when creating a record.

Hey , could you try it on snapshot? For some reason snapshot-2 doesn't have the latest ui-quick-marc and ui-inventory versions

Hey Denys 

I applied these permissions 

  • Inventory: Import single bibliographic records

  • Inventory: View instances, holdings, and items

  • quickMARC: View MARC holdings record

  • quickMARC: View, edit MARC bibliographic record

And when I login with these permissions I still cannot view source for MARC holdings
