Format dates in UI according to the current locale

Description

  1. Dates should be entered and displayed in the format defined by the current locale.

For example:

  • English: YYYY-MM-DD

  • German: DD.MM.YYYY

This applies to:

  • Walk-in contracts:

    • Birth date

    • Start date

    • Expiration date

  • Search:

    • Birth date

2. Validation should work for all translated dates without leading zeros (in search field and edit/create-form)

To change the format for the date field to a format with which the leading zeros are not required is not possible because  the datepicker is expecting a date with two numbers for the month and two numbers for the day.
