Since the list of supported fields is short in Q2, clicking the Cancel button will close the form without any warnings. I have updated the description accordingly.

- adding the transformations will be very labor intense and we need to prevent the situation that the user accidentally closes the screen and looses a lot of work already done but I see your point of the modal over modal. I will gather a little bit more information and we will revisit this ticket later.

I have concerns about this one showing (“Are you sure”) modal. We are about to show this kind of modal when the user is leaving the create/edit mapping profile form and also here, so two places. In the current place, it will be (“Are you sure”) modal over another modal (transformation modal). I see that for associated mapping profile modal in data-import in mapping settings there is no such behavior - upon click on "Close" button (not "Cancel") the modal just closes. This kind of (“Are you sure”) modal, as I see in other places in the folio app, only shows up when the user leaves the whole create/edit page (there URL change takes place) but not parts of it. Since this case differs from the overall experience in folio, this would require more effort to have it in place.
