No more error message when entering an item barcode without a patron barcode

Description

Overview:

There is no longer an error message during checkout, when you try to enter an item barcode without first entering an item barcode. I confirm that this was working in https://folio-juniper.dev.folio.org/ 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into Snapshot.

  2. Go to Check out

  3. Enter your item barcode in the field, then click Enter.

Expected Results:

A sentence in red appears underneath the patron barcode field: Please fill this out to continue  (see screenshot: Juniper_ErrorMessage), and the item barcode disappears.

Actual Results:

No sentence apears underneath the patron barcode, only the item barcode disappears.
