Check out taking 18 seconds in BugFest environment

Description

Steps to repro:

  1. Log into https://bugfest.folio.ebsco.com/

  2. Find any available item

  3. Copy the barcode

  4. Check the item out to any user

Expected: Should happen in less than one second

Actual: Takes 18 seconds. Performance doesn't seem to differ depending on time of day, as I tested in morning and evening CET

Additional info:

  • Check out is much faster in the Chalmers environment (5 seconds when I tested) which is odd because the data is mostly the same

  • Check out is much faster in snapshot (3 seconds) but that has much less data

Close this ticket since Bugfest env performance has been improved by adding the indexes. Opened MODCAL-50 to track the fixes to mod-calendar.

Hi Hongwei. I tested in BugFest environment and checkout performance is much better. I am seeing about 3 seconds now instead of 18. Thank you for fixing this so quickly!!
