Overview:
In Check in a new select list in the upper right corner of the screen provides the user to change the default check-in actions, as defined in Settings > Tenant > General > Service points. The three actions are 1. Close request & return item; 2. Keep on hold shelf; and 3. Ask for action.
If check in action is changed, then it should be retained until a new check-out session is started:
Session timeout: Reset to default value
Close session is clicked: Reset to default valueNavigation away from and back to check-in: Setting retained
Navigation away from and back to check-in: Setting retained
Use case:
As a Librarian, I require the ability to change the default check-in action for a reading room circulation requests when checking in the material. Staff at the circulation desk should be able to change the setting based on the current need, when doing the actual check-in.
