Description: When performing a backdated check-in on a FOLIO tenant with a time zone set to America/New_York, the processed as time is listed as one hour later than the time specified in the ‘Time returned’ field.
Steps to reproduce:
Log in to Poppy Bugfest
In Setting > Tenant > Language & localization, ensure that time zone is set to America/New_York.
In Inventory, identify an item that is currently checked out and copy its barcode.
Open the Check in app.
Use the edit buttons in the upper right corner to back date the check in.
Select March 1, 2024 and set the time to 4:15 PM
Paste the barcode from step 3 and enter to check the item in.
Expected results:
The processed time is listed as 3/1/24, 4:15 PM and the actual time is listed as date and time of the action.
Actual results:
The processed time is listed as 3/1/24, 5:15 PM and the actual time is listed as date and time of the action.
Additional information: Could this be related to the recent U.S. Daylight Savings time?
