Overview: Unclear error message displays when optimistic locking triggered by tags assignment to Instance record.
Reproduces only for “Instance” records.
Steps to reproduce:
Log in into Snapshot environment as user with following permissions:
Inventory: All permissions
Tags: All permissions
Go to “Inventory” app
Find and open the same “Instance” record detail view pane in two different browser tabs.
In browser tab #1:
Click on the "Tags" icon on the top-right side of Instance pane and assign one tag
In browser tab #2:
Click on the "Tags" icon on the top-right side of Instance pane and assign one another tag
Expected result: Following message displays in error toast notification:
”This record cannot be saved because it is not the most recent version.”
NOTE: see how it works for “Holdings” and “Items”:
Actual result: Following message displays in error toast notification:
”Cannot save tag data to record. Check that you have the required permissions.”
