Overview: During Nolana Bugfest test, a tester found that entered data in the search box does not persist, if changing the search option. The tester use today Lotus. The behavior the tester describes in Lotus is also present in Bugfest MG - but not in Bugfest Nolana.
Use case:
As a cataloger, it's helpful to get your search terms in first and then figure out which drop down to use.
This is a ruitine performed many times daily.
Steps to Reproduce:
Log into Folio Snapshot as user diku_admin
Go to Inventory
Select Keyword
Search for: the girl on the train
Decide to search Title (All) instead - note the search button has not been activated between the steps
Expected Results:
The entered data in the Search box does not get wiped out
Actual Results:
The entered data in the Search box does not get wiped out
Additional Information: The expected behavior is verified in Lotus and Bugfest Morning Glory
but not in Bugfest Nolana, nor FOLIO Snapshot.
