When setting a new state into the anointed stripes-connect resource – e.g. when clearing the search, as in UISE-16 – elements missing are not set empty. So, for example, clearing to a home page of /search?filters=item.book will set the filters correctly, but leave the sort and query with their previous values.
At that point, the resource should be reset completely.
