Manual test in FOLIO Testing, https://folio-testing.dev.folio.org/, version @folio/inventory 7.0.10001219, using Chrome.

All is working as expected and I'll close the ticket.

This was caused by the initial PR for which has now been reverted.

Ann-Marie Breaux April 14, 2021 at 8:57 PM

From in Slack:

Please file a new Jira. It appears that inventory is automatically triggering an empty search, i.e. a request to /inventory/instances?limit=100&query when it should be something like …query=some-search-term., hence “expected index or term, got EOF” (end of file, i.e. “hit the end of the string”).

(and it should not automatically be triggering anything, let alone an empty anything.)

The cause appears to be a buggy implementation of https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/STCON-121; we are in the process of reverting it now.
