Reindexing Process Fails in ECS Environment

Description

The reindexing process for instances in the ECS environment fails to proceed beyond the "MERGE_IN_PROGRESS" status due to a SQL error related to a non-existent database relation in the mod-search module. This issue is impacting the central tenant and its 5 member tenants with ID pattern centralTenantId_000x.

Environment:

  • ECS environment with 1 central tenant and 5 member tenants (centralTenantId_000x)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Initiate the reindexing process for instances in ECS environment.

  2. Monitor the status through the mod-search logs.

Expected Result:

  • The reindexing process should complete successfully without any errors.

Actual Result:

  • The reindexing process remains stuck in the "MERGE_IN_PROGRESS" status.

  • Error logs indicate a SQL grammar issue due to a missing relation in the database: "cs00000int_0002_mod_search.instance"
