Please can this issue be updated to reflect the scope of this work, given that it doesn't include supporting normalisation.

Per Marc, this bit will do the actual searching
Assumption is that data migration is out of scope because we don't currently have a way of mitigating that. CB: We aren't going to worry about this for this particular issue because requests have a relatively short lifecycle (they are created and closed - they don't stick around forever).
Scope of the story:
Identifiers array added to request.item element.
No indexes have been added because normalization will require re-create of them.
Note: The normalization work is out of scope and will be implemented separately in CIRCSTORE-186.
