This issue happens due to a problem(?) in Quck Marc.
When a Jurisdiction authority record (110/ind1=1) is linked to 710 of a Bib record, the $d is included in 710 of the BIB record.
However, when the same Jurisdiction authority record is linked to 110 of a Bib record, the $d is not included in the 110 of the BIB record.
See the attached screen recording.
Since $d is missing in the 110 of the Bib record, a new uncontrolled Jurisdiction resource is created in the data graph when the Bib record is loaded into datagraph. That caused this bug.
Steps:
Go to MARC authority
Select “New”
Select Authority file
Add field 010 $a
Add 110 field with sub-fields $a, $b, $c, $d with values
Save
Go to Inventory
Derive new MARC Bib record
Add fields 245
Add field 110 with ind1=1 and using link icon, link the authority created in step #6
Save
Select “Actions” → “Edit resource in LDE” → Select “Continue”
Go to Edit Work and see warning icon for Creator (network shows isPreferred=false)
Select “Edit Instance” → “Actions” → “View MARC”
$d is not shown
Actual result:
$d is not shown
Expected result:
$d should be shown and isPreferred should be “true”
