Perform MARC To Instance Matching in Local Tenant & Central Tenant

RCA Group

None

Description

Purpose/Overview:
When performing MARC to Instance matching, matching should occur in two tenants - central & local to realize ECS.

Requirements/Scope:

  1. Matching is limited to the central tenant and the local tenant only.

  2. When a match is found in the central tenant, divert actions to the local tenant as necessary.

Approach:

  • Determine if the local tenant is in a consortium.

  • Determine the central tenant identifier.

  • Perform matching in local tenant - if match found no need to search in central  (result - local or shadow Instance)

  • Perform matching in central tenant (result - shared Instance)

Acceptance criteria:

  • Matches are found in the central and local tenant.

  • Only one result is produced when there is a match to the Shared Instance in the central tenant and the Shadow Instance in the local tenant

Hi Thank you for all the work on this. Looks like we might have a problem where a user importing to member tenant to update a shared record is able to do it even when they don't have central tenant permission. Will add a separate bug for that, so that we can close this.

And thank you for all the tests, !
