Hi - I haven't been following Data Import closely enough to know where it stands with its functionality, but if it can create more bibs, holdings and items, that would address it.

Another possibility would be to load a MARC file through data import as part of the platform-complete build (leaving it out of the core build). Moving this issue into the DevOps backlog for consideration.

My suggestion is to move the MODS sample data set from folio-ansible to mod-inventory-storage.
This requires to convert the MODS file into .json files to get them included in the sample data loader during tenant initialization.
Advantage: The examples get checked by SampleDataTest.java, this will prevent issues like this for the future.
There is probably an issue in the MODS data loader in mod-inventory, however that is distinct from providing the full set of sample data and should be handled separately.

Hi and - unfortunately I don't have an example of the missing records. The behavior noticed was that we went from several hundred sample records to under fifty, including v. few examples with attached physical items (which is important to RA staff using these environments for demos and other exploration.)

Looking at folio-snapshot this morning, if you select all of the available category types, only 34 records display. This is consistent with John's comment from August 6th. So this is not resolved.
