After further thought, this would be a fairly significant challenge to do across multiple platforms. I don't think we want to go out with less unless we add a management application for a "union calendar" which probably isn't worth the effort at this point.

the more I think about this, the less enthusiastic I am about it. to do this right will require looking at 2 and sometimes 3 calendars and reconciling between them. Are we interesting in taking this on and what woudl we do with a conflict? More than we want to take on now
