Overview
Presently the log level is hardcoded in the start script(s). See:
Scope
Allow this to be specified via an environment variable so it can be adjusted w/o needing to rebuild a new image.
The current hardcoded configuration can remain as the default.
Acceptance Criteria
The log level can be specified via environment variable
if not explicitly specified, the default log level configuration is consistent with what’s currently hardcoded.
It’s demonstrated to the team that the log level can be adjusted, e.g. the root logger can be set to DEBUG for instance.
