Capability set for "Inventory: View, create, edit, mark missing items" does not provide ability to see Inventory app

Description

Preconditions:

  1. The user is authorized with following permissions:

    • Inventory: View, create, edit, mark missing items

    • Requests: View

  2. Items with the statuses On order, In process, Available, Checked out, In transit, Awaiting pickup, Claimed returned, Declared lost, Paged, Awaiting delivery, Order closed, Withdrawn
    The items that are Awaiting pickup, Awaiting delivery, and In transit should have open requests on them with request statuses of Open - awaiting pickup, Open - awaiting delivery, and Open - in transit, respectively.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to the env.

Expected Results: The ‘Inventoy’ option is displayed on the ‘Navigation’ panel.

Actual Results: The ‘Inventoy’ option is absent on the ‘Navigation’ panel.

Hi ! This test works on https://bugfest-ramsons-aqa.int.aws.folio.org and https://eureka-bugfest-ramsons-aqa.int.aws.folio.org envs, that’s why I don’t think that’s the problem is in the test case.

/ While discussing with other POs, it seems this isn’t a realistic use case. I’m going to close this as Won’t Do. You may want to update your test cases. If someone doesn’t have the ability to see orders they should see an appropriate error message. The workaround here is to assign the additional capabilities to users.
