Orders UX issue: has an order been cloned or not?

Description

When working with orders in the Chalmers dry-run, I decide to order an already ordered item from a new vendor. I want to close/cancel the old order and create a fresh cloned order with a new vendor.

I go to the order, choose clone in the actions menu, click clone in the popup.

Expected result:

  • to see a confirmation that a new cloned order has been created.

  • to see an option to go to that new cloned order

What happens:

  • no confirmation of cloned order.

  • no easy way to the new order.

The new cloned order is in the system as pending. But I have the status filter set to only open orders and can't see it. So I create a few more clones before I realize I have to filter to pending as well, and now I have a lot of duplicate orders to close.

Now, in Goldenrod live with hotfix #4, we do see the green confirmation. So I'll close this ticket.

It still behaves the same way in our Goldenrod dry run, no green confirmation. Are we missing an update or will it be available in Honeysuckle?

I see that the description is not entirely correct with what I see in our Fameflower today.
After cloning, I actually AM at the cloned order already, even as the filter checked is Open. The only way to see that is to be aware of the changed order number. It would be good to make it clearer that this IS in fact the cloned order. From what I see, Snapshot stable as of today has the nice green confirmation but otherwise behaves the same.
