Error when leaving username and password blank

Description

Following the steps from the test case https://foliotest.testrail.io/index.php?/cases/view/2464&group_by=cases:section_id&group_order=asc&group_id=354

here is the tester's comment : Username and Folio password are not required fields (marked with *), but you get an error if you don’t fill them in.

Steps:

  1. Log into chalmers environment (this doesn't repro in folio-snapshot

  2. Create a new user and fill out all required fields according to asterisks

  3. Do not fill out username and password (these should not be required)

  4. Attempt to save record

Expected: Should save without issue

Actual: Generates odd error

This has been fixed in the 3.2 build. Closing as done. Fix will be released to Chalmers when they upgrade to 3.2

informed me that there was a bug similar to this recently fixed by Core Platform: MODUSERS-138 This would explain why this doesn't repro in snapshot or testing.

, we need to know if Chalmers can wait until Q3.2 for this fix. If not, we'll need to investigate whether the fix could be patched to 3.1

, I don't. Maybe knows as she POed the password reset functionality.

I guess we need to find a team to investigate this,. Does this need to be fixed before Chalmers goes live?
