Some claiming jobs fail with 425 Security: Bad IP connecting error

Description

Not reproducible every time.

Preconditions:

  1. User is logged into eureka-bugfest ECS https://bugfest-sunflower-consortium.int.aws.folio.org/ as an admin user in College tenant

  2. Active vendor organization has been created and has active account number.

  3. Organization has two created integrations with the following integration details:

Integration #1:

  • Integration name - any unique value

  • Integration type - Claiming

  • Transmission method - FTP

  • File format - CSV

  • EDI FTP - FTP

  • FTP mode - ASCII

  • Server address - ftp://ftp.ci.folio.org

  • FTP connection mode - Active

  • Username - folio

  • Password - Ffx29%pu

  • FTP port - 22

  • Order directory - /files

Integration #2:

  • Integration name - any unique value

  • Integration type - Claiming

  • Transmission method - FTP

  • File format - EDI

  • Account number - existing active account

  • Vendor EDI code - any value

  • Library EDI code - any value

  • EDI FTP - FTP

  • FTP mode - ASCII

  • Server address - ftp://ftp.ci.folio.org

  • FTP connection mode - Active

  • Username - folio

  • Password - Ffx29%pu

  • FTP port - 22

  • Order directory - /files

  1. An Order associated with created vendor Organization in "Open" status with PO lines has been created with the following PO line settings:

  • "Claiming active" option is active (checked)

  • "Claiming interval" - 1

  • "Receiving workflow" is "Synchronized order and receipt quantity"

  • "Quantity" - 2

  • "Create inventory" is "Instance, Holding, Item"

  1. Pieces related to Order were marked as “Late” in the receiving app

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to “Claiming” app

  2. Check checkboxes next to both pieces from preconditions

  3. Click "Actions" button → Select "Send claim" option → Specify any date in the future in the appeared "Send claim" modal → Click “Save&close” button

  4. Go to “Export manager” app → Select "Organization" toggle on the "Search & filter" pane → Check "Claims" checkbox in the "Integration type" facet

Expected results:

Claiming job from preconditions is displayed in “Successful" status. EDI and CSV files are downloaded via FTP connection.

Actual results:

Blank EDI and CSV files are downloaded via FTP connection. Claiming job from preconditions is displayed in “Failed” status. Error details: File upload failed. 425 Security: Bad IP connecting. (FtpException).

Hello . I tried to reproduce this issue and found that it fails not each time.

Also I see that each time 2 exports started for “re“. Assuming it’s because of two integrations for “re“ organisation

Error 425 Security: Bad IP connecting. (FtpException) can be related to configuration of FTP server. This sirver managed by Index data and I will try comunicate with this team to check the server configuration.
