Automated Testing:
✅ Smoke Suite – executed, results available: TestRail

Manual Testing:
🔹 Bulk Edit Instance Record:

  • ❌ 20k records – commit failed with error:
    "errorMessage": "unexpected end of stream (through reference chain: org.folio.bulkops.domain.bean.ExtendedInstance[\"entity\"]->org.folio.bulkops.domain.bean.Instance[\"physicalDescriptions\"]->java.util.ArrayList[0])"

⚠️ Performance on upload records in Bulk edit was 5 times slower than our real process.

  • ✅ 10k records with Inventory (upload and commit) – successful

  • ✅ 10k Mark Instances uploaded via Bulk Edit – successful

🔹 Data Import:

  • ✅ Non-ECS: 100k records – successful (execution time: 65 minutes)

  • ✅ ECS: 100k records – successful (execution time: 37 minutes)

🔹 Data Export:

  • ✅ Non-ECS:

    • 500k Instance records with Default profile – successful

    • Export all Holdings with Default profile – successful

  • ✅ ECS:

    • 220k Instances (custom profile, central tenant) – successful, slow execution

    • 213k Holdings (default profile, central tenant) – in progress, slow execution
