Ramsons Bugfest Eureka (ECS, non-ECS) - triggering bulk edit with list of identifiers fails.

Description

This is a new issue that did not exist until February 11, 2025. The issue is reproduced on Ramsons Eureka environments (ECS, non-ECS).

Steps to recreate:

  1. Navigate to Bulk edit app, select Inventory instances, and Instance UUIDs as Record identifier

  2. Drag and drop attached .csv file.

Expected behavior:

The records are identified and preview of the matching records is displayed so that user can start bulk edit job.

Restarting Kafka resolved the problem.

After restarting the entire environment bulk operations are back to work.

Restarting Kafka seem to resolve the issue on Eureka ECS Ramsons and Eureka non-ECS Ramsons environment - I was able to complete the bulk edit jobs in both environments.
