Support for snapshot versions of UI modules

Description

UI modules use a different naming convention for snapshot versions, e.g. folio_users-10.1.1000005167 the maven plugin for specializing application descriptor templates does not yet handle this appropriately.

i.e. folio_users-10.1.1000005167  for semver it won't be a snaphot version but a patch version, if it makes difference

Scope

  • To unblock builds it is possible to use a workaround

  • Disable UI modules Semver strict validation

Potential Workaround

Semver has a strict rule that the version can't be bigger than bigInt. It is possible to disable Semver prevalidation for UI modules.

Just a note that semver will treat the latest number (1000005167 in folio_users-10.1.1000005167) as patch version not snapshot
