Prioritize Gap list items

@Maura Byrne

  • UXPROD-4681 Create a permission to limit display of some user data

    • Limiting address information is important to Chicago and ND.

    • Proposed data to restrict:

      • Address

      • Phone number

      • University ID

      • Birthdate

      • Email

      • Fees or fines?

    • Priority: Medium

  • UXPROD-3794 Extend Dashboard app to include User app queries

    • Use cases

      • Inactive users with permissions

      • Expired user records for deletion

      • Missing/Overdue loans

      • Blocked users (max. fines, etc.)

    • Priority: Low

  • UXPROD-4915 Open Search in Users

    • Proper record counts are really important, but there’s a workaround in Lists

    • Priority: Low

  • UXPROD-4038 Templates for creating User records in the app

    • It would be useful for student workers who might only fill out 2 in a semester

      • Would be better to choose a template, and then be able to select the patron group in the template

    • Olga: Would be useful for our library, doing it by patron group would be good for our library

      • Would like the template to be able to set the expiration date based on the patron group (1 year for community, 3 years for alumni)

      • Doing it by patron group would make it easier to require fields for certain patron groups.

        • We stop patron loads from banner in spring semester, and so have to create some patron records manually when the banner loads are stopped

    • Priority: Useful for a couple of libraries, but low for most others.

  • UXPROD-4161 Ability to choose and display any element in the User search result display

    • For us(Aaron, ND), the email and username are duplicative, so we don’t need both of the columns

      • It might be OK to just eliminate the column instead of replacing it

    • Priority: Low
