Gap list

Goal for today is to narrow the Gap List down to a more workable prioritized list, so we discussed individual tickets.

Amelia

UXPROD-4915 would resolve the performance issue described, make searching faster, and allow us to implement advanced search. Not a priority for 5C (current search works ok) but is a priority for MOBIUS on ECS.

UXPROD-4681 has been bouncing around a long time; implementation may be complicated but it can be prioritized if important. This would allow option to protect some fields from view.

UXPROD-4161 needs refinement for what we really want. It would be helpful if looking at a longer list of users and need to see some info at a glance. Good candidate for user preferences/what a staff user wants to see individually as a default.

UXPROD-4048 would include custom field in keyword search option and ALSO search option for those fields only. Is this a higher priority than getting open search in, or do we want to get open search and then start looking at other search enhancements?

UXPROD-4038 would allow for templates for users, similar to existing templates for orders. Purpose is to help humans to quickly create a record manually; automated user loads shouldn't be affected. Even if we don't end up creating templates, the ability to hide certain fields may still be useful.

UXPROD-1745  - Amelia will setup a vote to determine if this is a priority.

UXPROD-4774 might be more of a bug; Amelia will talk to Magda about this. Bulk edit can set a record to be active with an expiration date in the past, which should not be possible.

UXPROD-3779  might be desired for security purposes in some libraries.

UXPROD-3743 would add an editor for templates for the password reset email, similar to other notice editing tools in FOLIO. Use case: adding help contact info for when people run into issues. People really want this! It was also noted by Michigan State that the current email's "request a new link" directs to a 404, for which they've entered a hosting ticket with EBSCO (6499315).

UXPROD-2488 Please vote on this one; we will add more detail in future.

UXPROD-3680 Similar to acquisitions unit, but for users.

UXPROD-3610 This would be an alternative to last/first/middle name fields.

UXPROD-3609  This would allow for one address field instead of many.
