Marc Johnson is next, followed by Ingolf Kuss

Reminder:  Please copy/paste the Zoom chat into the notes.  If you miss it, this is saved along with the meeting recording, but having it here has benefits.

60 minUpdating the OST pages

Notes:

Ramsons:

  • Ingolf Kuss - Announce: Go will be included and should be announced to Sysops. Only if building from source, not if using community images
  • No Ramsons version of mod-ldp, only mod-reporting, we believed we approved mod-reporting for Sunflower, not Ramsons.
  • Communication about expected flower release of approved modules
  • Are there Java 21 modules in Ramsons?
    • In GH looks like only non-Flower modules have moved early

Sunflower:

  • Do teams know about Java 21 Craig McNally
  • How to do Java version communication?
  • Post in development to ask about Java versions
  • Craig McNally will follow up with Oleskii, get epic created if needed
  • Spring Boot requires Java 21
  • Feature freeze is March 7

Trillium

  • Release scope deadline Feb 7
  • Need to schedule Trillium OST update time- next Wednesday
  • Homework:
    • Support periods research for current versions
    • How do release delays interact with this? Trillium schedule will probably move

Eureka set asides:

  • Come back to application descriptors for Eureka

mod-reporting will be included in a beta release.

11:38:47 From Craig McNally to Everyone:
based on a quick GitHub search, I see mod-camunda, mod-workflow, and spring-module-core specify the java21 Jenkins build node... I think all three of these are TAMU modules

11:39:20 From Day, Kevin to Everyone:
But mod-camunda, mod-workflow, and spring-module-core aren't in a flower release yet, officially.
